WW2 GERMAN MAUSER K98K BAYONET WITH SCABBARD BY ALEXANDER COPPEL. Blue finish on a fullered false edge blade with early wood grips, and crisp markings "WaA518" double waffenamt at pommel and blued flash guard. Ricasso has serial number with "P" suffix and opposite Coppel's code of "43 fnj". Period scabbard with original black paint having waffenamt at drag tip and different S/N at throat. Period leather unmarked black dyed frog.
