Description:
This is a contemporary Pennsylvania Long rifle in the Lancaster style with a M. M. Maslam "Garranted" flint lock. It has an engrave Lancaster style brass patchbox and a Lancaster style stock. The stock is carved and the curly maple stock has a very even tight curl figure. It ha German Silver inlays on the butt stock and forearm. The 42 inch barrel is .36 caliber and has strong rifling. The gun is not marked by the maker. This is a good sound rifle representing the late flintlock era.
