Sold...Greg...An Enfield Cavalry Carbine...21 inch barrel....65 caliber smooth bore...excellent bore with no corrosion or rust...excellent sights...beautiful original stock with a unique buttplate...no repairs....original varnish...trigger guard has the hole for chain for the nipple...beautiful marks on the breech end of the barrel...Enfield stamp on the right side of the butt stock with a #1 mark...beautiful marks on the lockplate...Crown VR...1857/67 Enfield...3 other marks...no sling swivel on the trigger guard...saddle ring on the left side with marks...2 barrel bands in nitre blue with marks...WD/War Dept. marks on the trigger guard and butt plate and on the barrel bands...lockplate and cocking is like new...super strong springs...strong half cock...beautiful original nipple...captive ramrod works perfectly.
