SOLD A very fine looking like new S&W Model 1 third issue in .22 bleck powder short, with a 3 3/16" long barrel with strong rifling and clean bore but a few patches of corrosion, wull spin a bullet. Indexes and locks up tight, and the barrel has a very slight common side to side wobble. Lock is very good, and the original Rosewood grios are clean and much varnish. Finish is 100% high polish blue,on the and the address is deep and complete, No pitting, or sanding marks under the finish, but the serial numbers on the base 23179 is complete, and the last number of 9 is a littel light , wight means it maaay have been buffed and then gun was re-blued. But I may be wrong. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
