Sold...Bob...A Pre War Winchester Model 70 Super Grade made in 1941 with a Lyman Alaskan 2.5 power scope on G&H mount...scope is super clear and functional...1940 was the only year that Winchester offers this feature...it ended in 1941...the screw holes are blind inside and out. It has the original marked Winchester leather sling with the original Super swivels. The rifle is in great original condition, Super clean bore and excellent original blueing ...matching bolt. Original varnish with no repairs on the Super Grade stock. It has it original Lyman sight 48WJS with the original box. An excellent Winchester Super Grade Model 70 made in 1941 for the Pre64 and Pre War Model 70 collector. On page 248 of the The Rifleman's Rifle by Roger C. Rule is the information for the Lyman scope as an added feature for the Model 70. USPS priority mail is 60.00
