Description:
Model 1895 Marlin lever action in .45-70 GOVT. JM marked barrel. This one has a dead nuts mounting system with a 1 inch Nikon Monarch 2.5-10 scope included. Scope comes with Nikon lens covers. This one prints tight groups at 100 yards with Winchester 300gr factory ammunition. (it's really dead nuts) It's outfitted with beautiful custom leather accessories from Wes Daems out of Montana Territory. The butt pad features custom rawhide reinforced lace protectors. The sling is basket weave and lined with sheep skin. Wes has a long waiting list for custom leather work. Overall this rifle is in excellent (like-new) shape. It is truly a safe queen. Only one box of ammunition through it during a sighting in range session many years ago. I have 2 extra boxes of factory ammunition that is available to the new owner.
