  • These early Swiss commercial Lugers were originally intended for sale in Switzerland, however with the huge early demand in the US for Luger pistols in the 1907-1915 time frame, DWM diverted some production from their Swiss contract through their US agent to the Abercrombie & Fitch Co. of New York. At this time, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. in New York was probably the largest retailer of outdoor sporting goods and equipment in the US.
  • This scarce Luger has the early style short frame with the 1906 style grip safety, no stock lug and is correctly marked GELADEN on the extractor
  • We have seen pistols of this quality selling upwards of $20,000 + (we've included a pic of an auciton for another one that sold for more than $21K)
  • We are also including a reproduction 197 page Abercrombie & Fitch Co 1920 catalog reprinted and bound by Cornell Publications (specializes in vintage and antique gun catalogs and manuals)
  • This fine & rare Luger from a private collection is being offered for the first time for sale at this amazingly attractive price
