Offered is an Colt 1860 Fluted Army in outstanding original condition. Serial number 3678 all matching (including inside perfect fitting, original varnish grips). The gun retains sharp edges on the metal and deep stamping with areas of original blue. It is mechanically perfect. It has never been cleaned and shows even wear throughout. Blended silver plating on triggerguard 25% and on backstrap 45%. Screws are 95% unbuggered. One sold last weekend at Rock Island s, in very similar condition for $10,700 + sales tax. These fluted Armys are hot right now and getting harder to find. This one is as nice and original as you could hope to find. Most of them have been "rode hard and put away sweaty". There were only aroud 4000 made and many of them blew up from the thinner walls of the fluted cylinder. Grab this one for almost certain value appreciation.
