Exceptional!! A beautiful 98%++ all original Wincheater H/W with inscribed silver plaque, "JOSEPH FAIRHALL/ FEB 9th,1892". Nicely figured wood for an otherwise standard Winchester 1885 H/W. Bore is as new, 30" number #3 oct barrel with orig sights has 99% blue and casecolors are super vivid and at 97% on the receiver. Wood has 98% original varnish with only minor handling marks. Casecolors on the lever and buttplate have turned dark. Serial # 529xx, circa 1892. Crisp markings and sharp edges. A truly wonderful H/W in fantastic condition. TRADE CONSIDERED
