Description:
Winchester model 12 16 gauge field gun with 28" bbl. Choke is modified. Gun date of manufacture 1953. out of my personal collection has fired one box of shells in my care. A few marks on wrist on buttstock and one mark on butt. Gun overall a solid 95%. It is amazing on how we all look at condition. I judge them very hard. For my self this gun is to nice to beat up in the uplands. I see alot of these for sale in full choke but not a lot of mods. Blue is excellent all around. This gun and I have a lot in common we are both getting old. I would like to see this gun go to a collector who will keep it for the next twenty years. On the otherhand for someone who wants a reliable hunting gun you can't beat a model 12. If someone said they are the most reliable shotgun ever built I won't argue. I have shot a model 12 trap gun for years one broken firing pin after five thousand rounds.I learned a long time ago there are no deals on good guns. Gang if you buy the best when you go to sell it they can't knock it. For the condition of this fine gun I feel the gun is priced correct. Call me I do not respond to e mail 860 637 7240 SALE PENDING
