Description:
I recently picked up 2 like-new rifles made by gunsmith and author Charlie Sisk for a great price. His rifles feature blueprinted actions, Lilja free-floated match barrels, McMillan stocks, Timney triggers, and Ceracote metalwork.
The first is a 300 Win Mag built on a G Series Remington 700 action, with a 24" barrel and weighs 7.15 lbs.
The 2nd is a 270 Winchester built on a Howa 1500 action with a 22" barrel and weighs 7.1 lbs.
The LOP on both rifles is the industry standard 13 1/2", and both feature the same forest green finish with black splatter accents.
Since the rifles were near identical and came from the same source, I contacted Charlie to see if he remembered the build. He didn't remember them specifically as he's built so many rifles to those exact specs, but said that the build cost of his rifles is $5,600. Get these for a fraction of that.
