Description:
Breathtaking SIACE hammer gun made by Dale Tate. This gun, with Tate SN "006" in gold on the trigger is finely engraved in scroll pattern. This game gun, with original 28" mono-blocked was one of the guns built by Dale Tate for the American market made with splinter forend with Deeley latch release, and triangular ebony tip, engraved steel pistol grip cap and butt stock with silver oval near toe. "Tate" in gold on both locks. Beautiful flame figured American Walnut stocks are nicely checkered and terminate with a fine leather covered pad. Case color by Turnbull's. The Stocks were made by Bill Harvey. The final finishing by Dale Tate and overall it is just great.
The gun remains in near mint original condition having been fired less than 250 rounds by the previous owner. Mechanics are perfect, and bores are brilliant and shiny. These guns are durable and capable of handling any modern shot.
