1977 Colt Single Action Army, .45 Colt, 4.75”, Blue/Color Case-Hardened w/ Eagle Black Hard Plastic Grips
This is an early 3rd generation SAA in a very desirable configuration. The overall finish is in excellent condition. The bluing is practically perfect including the case hardened frame. It appears to have been fired very little. There’s practically no powder residue in the usual places except for minimal residue on the cylinder face. The cylinder does have a very light handling marks. The bore is in excellent shape. The screws are in good shape overall. Very slight marring on some. All markings are prominent such as the patient dates/Rampant Colt and caliber/address lines. The original eagle grips are in perfect shape.
The gun is mechanically sound. The action is crisp and timed correctly.
The serial stamped on the frame is 87627SA, which matches the serial on the trigger guard strap/backstrap, cylinder (“7627” marked on face), and inner side of the grips (minus SA; “87627”).
Comes with box/paperwork but I don't believe it's original as there's no label.
