Description:
The Colt California Bicentennial Scout was made in 1969, with 5,000 manufactured (serial numbered 1CBI TO 5000CBI). The 6-shot Single Action revolvers were fitted with a 6 inch barrel, 2-piece Walnut grips with Colt medallions, full length ejector rod/housing, fixed sights, gold tone finished with nickel finished frame screws, hammer and trigger, and chambered in .22 LR. This Colt Scout is as described and is in excellent/unfired condition, retaining 99%+ of its original gold tone finish, with assorted very minor handling marks. The attractive grips fit well and are in very fine condition, retaining 85-90% of their original finish, with most loss on the left grip panel, appearing to having flaked off. The bore is as new and the action functions perfectly. Comes in a wood presentation case with antique gold toned minurature of the state of California and (2) keys. The nice looking case is in fine conditon, with sound hinges and lock. Sorry, no paper-work. An attractive Colt, seldom see these California commemoratives.
