The Model 70 Sporter is a bolt action rifle that is pure and traditional. The Sporter's raised cheekpiece puts your eye in perfect alignment behind the scope. This rifle features a cold hammer-forged free-floated barrel, polished metal surfaces, steel sling swivel studs, and a forged steel receiver with integral recoil lug bedded front and rear. The Pachmayr Decelerator Recoil Pad is essential for optimal protection against felt recoil. Inside is the M.O.A Trigger System, the finest trigger ever offered in a bolt-action with zero take up, zero creep and zero overtravel.
