The M1 was the main battle rifle used by U.S.G.I.'s during WWII and is known for its legendary accuracy and reliability. If you're in the market for a true piece of history, this Garand is a great choice. This rifle is a rare IHC space gap receiver (due to the space in writing on the model designation on the receiver.) The barrel is dated 4-55 and appears to be original to the rifle/receiver. This rifle is a Red River Depot arsenal rebuild and is in excellent shape as it was refinished professionally by U.S. Army Material Command. The refinishing date is stamped 12-65. This rifle comes with one enbloc clip.
