Spencer. Model 1865 Saddle ring carbine. Cal. 56-50. Manufactured between 1865-1866This model has the desirable Stabler cut off. Stock has the E.C.W. and D.A.P. inspector cartouche. Barrel is a pleasing mix of blue -brown patina with some varnish evident. The frame colors have turned a brown patina. Wood is excellent proud to metal with perfect cartouche, and no cracks. Fine strong action, clean near mint bore. Has center fire block conversion to shoot center fire ammo, original block comes with it. Serial # 19541.
