NEW PRICE: For sale is a like new CZ 550 Varminter rifle chambered in 308 Winchester with a 25.6 inch cold hammer forged heavy barrel. This model is no longer made and was a limited edition. 1 in 12 twist rate. Steel and wood…as a rifle should be. I bought this rifle from an old gentleman who never shot it. The rifle has a single set trigger, when pushed forward, breaks like a glass rod at approx. 4 oz. I mounted the pictured Nikon Monarch 4-16x40 scope with duplex reticle and side parallel adjustment, and proceeded to shoot sub 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards with one just under 0.35 inches using Federal 165 BTSP factory ammo. I also replaced the European sling fixtures with conventional swivel studs to facilitate mounting a bipod (not for sale). Total of 45 rounds fired. I have a spare factory 5 round mag for sale to the buyer for an additional $50. They retail for $69 when you can find them. Rifle and scope weighs 11 pounds on my bathroom scale. LOP is 14 inches. Shipping to CONUS is $55 via UPS Ground with a copy of my DL to your FFL. If your FFL requires that it ships from an FFL, then add $65 for my dealer’s transfer fee. Insurance is optional and paid by the buyer. Amazing accuracy at a fraction of the price of other rifles termed to be “tactical models”. Only payment forms are USPS money orders.
