Description:
Winchester famous 1895 rifle in 30 Army (also known as 30-40 Krag). Rear sight and hand guard removed and replaced with a flip up rear sight at rear of barrel, original sight screw hole was plugged long ago. Bluing shows age and use, typical for a 1915 dated firearm, that has gone mostly brown on the receiver. Stock shows an old crack repair, and swivel have been installed on this rifle. Bore is frosty , but serviceable, showing gray and with grooves. A well-used but still serviceable hunting rifle. .30-40 Krag
