Marlin Model 336-SC Lever Action Sporting Carbine in .35 Rem. SN #J40138. Mfg. in 1952. 1st Model (1948-1952) LOP 13 1/2". 20" Barrel with an EXCELLENT Bright Bore with STRONG RIFLING. The Blued Metal is in EXCELLENT condition for it's age with some light wear to the Receiver and Magazine Tube. The Smooth Walnut Pistol Grip Stock and Forend are in EXCELLENT Original condition with just a couple of light handling marks on the Forend. Open Sights. 2/3 length Tube Magazine. JM Marked Barrel. Side eject. Top of Receiver is grooved to reduce glare. Not too many of these around in this NICE OF CONDITION. Weight: 6.8 lbs. Trigger Pull: 2 1/4 lbs. More photos available upon request.
