Description:
Description: This firearm is an Amercian Gun Co, (Crescent Arms), 12 gauge SXS Knickerbocker shotgun. Gun is believed to be complete except the butt stock plate is missing. The finish is good overall and consistent with age. Barrel length is 29+ inches and the barrel bores are bright. No bulges or barrel defects are apparent. The action does not lock up tight. This shotgun should be considered a “wall hanger” as is, or a good winter gunsmithing project. This shotgun is circa early 1900’s and therefore not suitable for modern ammunition. Assessment for use by a qualified gunsmith is a must prior to any use. This shotgun is C&R eligible.
Payment: On firearms, we accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover), USPS money orders, and certified checks. Payment must be made or mailed within 3 days if buy it now is used. Please note that the sale prices reflect a 3% cash/money order discount. This discount is not valid for credit card purchases. Add 3% to the total cost for such purchases. Any purchases to be delivered in the state of Virginia incur 6% sales tax.
Shipping: Buyer pays for shipping cost; $29 for this shotgun. Firearms will be properly packed and insured for the item sale price only, not including shipping charges. Seller will promptly ship via USPS, Fedex, or UPS at seller’s discretion and choice in accordance with carrier’s regulations and federal law.
Legal Requirements: All firearm sales will be in accordance with US federal, state, and local law. We do not sell internationally. We do not ship to any state and/or locality where a particular firearm is not legal. If you are unsure about whether an item is legal or has special requirements in your state and/or locality, please verify with a local FFL, preferably the same one that would receive the firearm for transfer. We only ship to licensed FFL’s after receiving a legible, signed copy of their FFL by email. If your FFL has questions or concerns, please have them contact us by phone or email. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure all the required documentation is provided in a timely manner to avoid shipping delays. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that the transfer FFL is open business hours and willing to accept the firearm. C&R licenses require a valid government photo ID with a signed copy of the license.
Inspection Policy: All firearms have up to a 3 day inspection period prior to transfer. The inspection period begins at time of receipt by the transfer FFL or C&R holder. Firearms are not to be fired, disassembled, tested, or otherwise used during the inspection period. Firearms cannot be returned after transfer to buyer for any reason. Used and mil-surp firearms may have scuff marks, minor cosmetic imperfections and or slight scratches that the description may not denote. Please review the photos carefully.
Return Policy: Seller is to be immediately notified for a RMA number, within the 3 day inspection period, if a buyer wants to return a firearm. The buyer must start the return within the next four (4) calendar days to receive a refund. In other words shipping must start within one week of receipt of the item(s). The return shipping must be of equal shipping level, including insurance, and over 21 signature required. The return item MUST be in the same condition as when shipped to the buyer. Any refunds will not include the original outbound shipping charges, FFL fees, or transaction fees. All sales are final after the inspection period expires or transfer is completed.
