Description:

My father purchased this rifle out of Big Timber shortly before he passed away. It has been shot less than 100 times. I only put 20 rounds through it, and Dad simply didn't have the time to do more. The wood and metal finish are in excellent condition as it has sat in the safe for several years. The only wear marks are two dents in the wood. There are no actual scratches in the wood, and the satin bluing is perfect. True color case hardening is dark and is complemented beautifully by the wood grain. The wood was graded as extra fancy and the cheekpiece has a very nice shadowline. I don't know what to call the style of the foreend tip, but I find it attractive and creative. Shiloh installed a midrange Vernier tang sight and a globe front sight with spirit level, both made by Montana Vintage Arms. The set trigger is impossibly light. The barrel is a heavy weight full octogon and the bore is excellent as you would expect.

The waiting list at Shiloh has never been short and they haven't had anything in the inventory for quite awhile. It is also good to keep in mind that Shiloh might not be making these all that longer. This example of their rifles has simple good looks and from the handful of rounds I put through it, it groups well. I am only selling the rifle because I have my own silhouette gun.
