Fine 1906 made for Commercial market in the U.S., American Eagle on the chamber appeals to American pride. Retains 95% of original bluing, strawed small parts retain 95% of straw finish. Commercial crown proof on left-side of receiver, under the barrel and on left-side of breechblock, shining bore with nice rifling, and a Germany stamp on the front of the frame.
This DWM 1906 American Eagle Luger semi-automatic, chambered for the 7.65mm round, was originally manufactured for commercial sales in the United States over a century ago. Featuring a "(Crown) N" commercial proof on the bottom of the barrel, left side of receiver and on the breech block, an extractor marked "LOADED", front of the frame marked "GERMANY", an American Eagle over the chamber, and a front toggle link marked "DWM" in script. The lower safety position is polished, as this early 20th century pistol makes for a valuable addition to any collection.
