Description:
Winchester 1894 Special Order Delux Takedown manufactured in 1904. This DeLux 30 WCF came with Express sights w/two folding leaves. The Lyman aperature rear sight made this a hunters rifle. The XXX feather crotch buttstock with fine checkering and a pistol grip w/a Winchester factory pistol grip cap still in place. The shotgun butt retains the original factory hard rubber butt plate. The forend wood is also feather crotch walnut and matches the buttstock wood. There are no tang splits in the grip area of the buttstock. The takedown is still snug and tight. The bore is excellent: bright and shiny. Barrel is 26" in length. There is 70% of the original factory blue overall. The wood has never been sanded or refinished. The checkering is original and has never been recheckered or touched up. A truly fine turn of the century DeLux rifle. $5400
