Rarely found in .308 is this very desirable and exceptionally nice condition VS (not the cheaper and more common laminated stock or synthetic stock) but real fancy deluxe American Walnut stocked varmint / target rifle.
Known for exceptional out of the box accuracy and one of the very few VS's not chambered in lighter bullet weight cals (the others equally hard to find are 7mm08 and 25-06)
These are more or less a sporterized version of the Viet Era M 40 Sniper Rifle
This is a fine example in collectable conditon. Save for a few compression marks on the wood it is near or as new
Comes with Redfield or Leupold type scope base and rings (We have many fine quality higher powerd Leupold and other scopes 2d hand that would make a fine companion piece to this exceptinal rifle...inquire about inventory and pricing
