RARE SMITH & WESSON NEW MODEL NO. 3 RUSSIAN SILVER NIELLO INLAID .44 CAL. REVOLVER CA. 1877. .44 Russian caliber with 6 ½” barrel with Cyrillic barrel address. Inlaid in the manner of arms decorated in the Ottoman Balkans and Turkey but found in Turkey in the 1960’s. All original and complete in working order except not safe to fire because of small hairline split on the left side of the barrel 1 ½” from the muzzle which is barely noticeable. Working order. Rare and from the period of the Russo-Turkish wars.
