This old Marlin Sporting Carbine remains in very good overall condition. Wood is solid but shows scratches and handling marks from age. original blue still remains but there are several areas of light oxidation and pitting. Blue loss on high contact places. Bore is excellent! Checkered Marlin butt plate is also in one piece and not cracked. .35 Remington
