This is a very early production Smith & Wesson Chiefs Special with Box. It is an early 4 digit gun with the small trigger guard and first type grip knowm as the "Baby Chiefs". Superb condition about 98%. Has the box as well with a faint matching serial number on the bottom. Right grip has matching serial number. Barrel and cylinder have serial numbers as is correct on these early guns. A prime collectors example. It is over 50 years old so C&R is OK. I am a collector selling from my collection so please make sure your FFL will accept from an individual. Shipping is $25. Thanks for looking.
