Description:
This knife is known as a california knife, an 11.5 inch double deged blade with knicks from use. only the IA is visible as the etching was very light.
guard is nickeled as well as the metal on the original IXL scabbard, this knife is very sharp, The handle exhibits hand wear on the horn.
it is also wonderful that the frog on the scabbard is still there as this is a heavy knife. Very appropriate in a gold rush or civil war collection.
