Sig Arms P220 45 ACP 1986 ... upgraded to the max! Many consider the Sig p220 to be the finest double action pistol ever produced and is still going strong since 1975. This gun stamped "made in west germany" "sigarms tysons corner, va." was one of the first guns actually imported by Sig is seldom seen and highly sought by collectors. Sig fanboys know that Sig makes a great handgun that is probably over priced and begs to be upgraded. So this is what my gunsmith did to add a little more swag and lots more accuracy: added Sig SRT kit, E2 grips to narrow and better grip, new Sig Dot & Bar sights amd most importantly installed the legendary Armory Craft dual control trigger (no more pre travel no more over travel) and about 3.5 lb trigger that performs like a top tier 1911. Without a doubt, the most important variable in handgun accuracy is the trigger pull! Really sweet shooter for those who actually want to hit the bullseye vs shooting holes in paper. Outstanding handgun with pristine bore with sharp lands and mirror grooves and shows little use. Slide hand polished to give distressed gunmetal grey look. Really sharp bigboy .45acp. This 1986 "West Germany , Tyson's Corner, Va." P220 has enough historical significance than a standard used P series to command higher prices...every P series handgun is basically the same as the original P220 .45acp. Forgot to mention the Armory Craft solid stainless steel guide rod and the (original )will also be included.
