Description:
I have decided to offer this special and rare FN/ Browning Superposed to the advanced collector. I stumbled on to this special Superposed and had to have it. After examining and researching this firearm I have decided it is better suited for the advanced Browning collector. I contacted Browning and spoke with the new historian for any information and/or letter if available. none/zero. I tried internet search and again zero information. This was a consignment from an estate and again I could not get any information on this. I did find a 1000 year B25 for Liege (1980) at $25,000.00 and a B125 which is listed in the Blue Book. This particular FN Superlight appears to be built in a quanity of 25 and this one is number 20. This possibly could be the only one here in the USA. No import stamp listed on the barrel. The serial dates to 1977 so it could be early 78. This would make since the anniversary is 1979. This commemorates the 1000 year anniversary of Brussels, Belgium 979-1979. It is a true European Superlight, round frame, schnable forearm, english stock, being the unique Swan Neck version.. It appears to have not been fired. In the pictures listed you can view other stats about the choking, bores, etc. I make cards on all my firearms. This gun has not been altered in anyway. It is a Grade I Superlight embellished at FN and is signed M. Bodson left side rear of the receiver. Please ask questions if needed or call my cell. If more pictures are needed feel free to ask.
