Description:
The only thing that surpasses the profuse engraving on this rifle is the stock embellishment ... the carved leaf motifs are artfully integrated with the hand checkering and ivory work. The pictures speak volumes. Made in 64 (no G prefix) with a 24" barrel, weight 8lb. Embellishment done in Germany by a master engraver and stockmaker, commissioned by a high ranking military officer. As an engraver myself I can state unequivocally that the engraving on this gun is superbl. Has led a quiet life. LOP 13 5/8" through Herters rubber pad.
