Description:
This is a Krieghoff Model KS5 Special Trap Gun in 12 gauge with a 34-inch barrel with screw in Krieghoff chokes. The serial number is 12684; it was manufactured in Ulm, Germany, likely in 1992. This serial number is marked on the bottom inside surface of the receiver and on the barrel. The gun’s barrel has a polished blue finish; the receiver is finished in a bright satin finish. This gun’s stock has a palm swell on either side of the pistol grip and an adjustable comb. Its butt plate has adjustments for length, drop, and rotation. A Pachmayr recoil pad is also installed. The barrel is ported. It has a high ventilated rib with front and middle beads. The point of impact is adjustable by a screw locking thumb wheel at the muzzle end of the rib. The trigger is screw adjustable for crispness and weight. The receiver is inscribed KS5 on either side and SPECIAL on the bottom. The gun has a unique feature which allows it to be broken down and stored in an un-cocked condition. Included with the gun is a fitted Krieghoff branded Ameri-case, the original owner’s manual, a page giving special instructions for adjustment of the rib, a Krieghoff tool, and a Krieghoff choke wrench. Also included are three Krieghoff choke tubes (F, IM, M). Lastly, two screws are included which hold a name plate onto the outside of the case.
