We offer you a Dan’L “Daniel” Fraser Single Shot Falling Block Lightweight Stalking Rifle chambered in .22 Hornet.
These were imported by Thad Scott from an Italian maker in the 1980’s. The rifle wears a 24” half round half octagon barrel that has an excellent bore with no issues. The bluing on the barrel shows thinning and uneven areas. The falling block receiver finish is in fine condition and the lever snaps firmly into place. The forearm is in very fine condition with no cracks and has a diamond brass plate as shown. The butt stock has a slight crack at the upper tang with use marks. The L.O.P. is 13 5/8” over the early solid Pachmayr pad. On top is mounted an older Weaver scope as shown. The barrel is marked “22H”, the receiver reads “DANL FRASER & Co.” with the bottom tang showing the serial number of 107.
