This 10.35mm Italian System Bodeo Modello 1889 enlisted revolver is marked to the GUARDIA DI FINANZA. The Guardia di Finanza the police force responsible for dealing with financial crime and smuggling (and now drugs). It is under the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance. The 4.5"" octagon barrel has an excellent bore. The gun retains approx. 95% of its arsenal rework blue finish from the rework to replace the original folding trigger with a tfixed trigger and trigger guard. The right side of the farme above the trigger guard has the Italian shield followed by R. GUARDIA DI FINANZA. The left frame in front of the cylinder is marked V. BERNADELLI over CARDONE-MODIF. 1932. The checkered wood grips are excellentg with no cracks or chips and light wear at the bottom. The lanyard ring is present.
