Here we present a seldom seen Civil War era pistol made by the J.M. Cooper Company of Philadelphia, Pa. This model is know as the Navy Second Model revolver. This is one of approximately 11,000 handguns produced by the company and resembles the Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver but is far rarer with the low production number. This fine piece comes in .36 caliber and the mechanics are exceptionally crisp. The action is one of the first (if not the first) double action revolvers released. If you want a fantastic piece of civil war history look no further. For payment I will accept personal checks, money orders, certified check or cashiers’ check, all major credit cards.
