Description:
96K serial range. 30 inch barrel chambered in 30-40 Krag caliber. A very good bore and a nice smooth bolt action. Pinned blade front sight and a flip up ladder rear. Markings are "JSA 1898" on the left side. A script "P" behind the trigger guard. Stock is in very good condition with some staining on the left side near the butt. Barrel blue is thinning and turning a plum/brown.Receiver is a blue/gray while the bolt and magazine retain stronger original blue. Sling swivels and a bayonet lug. This is a very nice example of an old military rifle with an Antique serial number. This one would look good in any gun collection.
