"Serial number C38771. 50-70 caliber caliber with a 28" barrel. Barrel and forearm have been shortened into a sporting rifle configuration. Metal has a gray patina. Left hand side of the barrel has the Springfield alteration number. Very interesting Sharps converted to a Sporting Rifle!
