Description:
"Made 1820s- 1830s. 50 caliber with a 40 ½" barrel. Very interesting gun in as found condition. Metal has a dark brown patina with some pitting. Wood is very good as it is intact. This gun has been converted to percussion. The areas around the tang and just forward of the drum conversion have quite a lot of percussion burnout. Action works well.
