Another “ESTATE” firearm listing brought to you from Dust 2 Dollars who prides themselves on showing the complete gun in high quality pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration.
We offer you a “CUSTOM” Remington model 700 bolt action rifle chambered in .260 Ackley Improved.
The build started with a Remington model 700 BDL rifle. The action was trued and a Timney trigger was installed. The bolt received an oversized bolt handle as you can see. A 20” Pac-Nor stainless match barrel was fitted and chambered in 260 Ackley improved. The barreled action was then fitted to an H-S Precision stock with an H-S detachable magazine conversion. The rifle was used on a couple of hunts then put away in a gun safe due to deteriorating health. As shown the rifle weighs in right at seven pounds. It has “2” – two magazines and a set of Redding dies as shown. The package is in excellent condition with a few minor surface scuffs on the stock and metal. This rifle cost well over 2K to build with the work being performed by very competent Gunsmiths.
