Description:
Winchester Model 52 target rifle; pre-A with speedlock; SN 18343 mfr in 1931; globe front sight with multiple inserts, ladder type peep sight in rear; scope blocks; original magazine plus one extra Winchester mag; two stocks. This rifle was in my grandfathers estate. I do not know if he shot it in competition or if he acquired it from someone else. When I got it it had several pounds of lead/tin solder wrapped around the barrel and the stock had been shortened by 1.5" and an ill-fitting butt/recoil pad poorly attached. I replaced the butt pad with two 0.75" aluminum spacers and a Morgan Adjustable butt pad. I shot the gun in Silhouette competition with the iron sights and with a scope. I eventually found an original stock with steel butt plate and replaced the shortened one. The replacement is on the gun now. Both stocks are included.gun is in excellent condition; bore is mint.
