Description:
For sale is a Smith & Wesson Model 3 American 2nd Model. Manufactured in 1873. The revolver was shipped with the 8" blued barrel. This Model 3 American is in fine mechanical condition. The cylinder indexing is crisp with a well-defined bore. The finish is fading blue/gray steel- no pitting, and has the expected holster ware for it's age. The walnut stocks are clean without chips or cracks. All barrel markings are correct and has the correct part number (488) stamped on the rear end of the cylinder. Also included are its holster, cartridge belt, and a few original black powder .44 S&W cartridges.
