The 25ACP Walther Model 8 was manufactured from 1920 to 1940. The 2 7/8"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains approx. 98% of its original bright blue. The left side of the slide is marked Walthers Patent Mod. 8. over the Walther banner logo. The right side is marked Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-Mehlis (Thur.). It has the commercial crown over N proof marks. This is a first variation Model 8. The checkered hard rubber grips, with a circular 6.35 inset, are excellent with no cracks or chips. It retains the correct original magazine with the Walther logo on the base. The action functions correctly. This super Walther Model 8 is ready for the finest pocket auto pistol collection.
