Guns Listing ID: 314501 For sale is a original, well marked Single rune marked K 98 Mauser manufactured by Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG in 1944 with the type 2 marking. Steyrs with the single rune were manufactured using labor from the Mauthausen concentration camp. There is an import mark on the left side of the barrel, Cole Dist. S. Ville KY, and should be visible in the pictures. The rifle does have multiple Nazi eagle markings on it, most notably on the receiver, barrel, and bolt. The serial number is hand engraved on the floor plate, bolt, and safety. The serial number on the barrel band does not match which is no surprise as these were a commonly replaced part . All metal, bluing, and finish is in excellent, and the bore is bright and shinny. This should be an excellent shooter if you choose to not make her a safe queen.
