REMINGTON RAND U.S. 1911 A-1, CAL. .45 ACP. SER. 942221, MFG 1943. THIS U.S. MILITARY ICON HAS RETAINED ABOUT 95% OF THE ARSENAL FINISH. THE LITTLE LOSS THERE IS, FROM SOME SHARP EDGE SILVERING AND A FEW SMALL PATCHES OF PIN PRICKS DUE TO HOLSTER WEAR. THE GRIP STRAPS SHOW SLGHT GRAYING. ALL PARTS MATCH AND ARE PROPER. THE PLASTIC GRIPS ARE THE CORRECT SMALL RING TYPE. THEY ARE PERFECT EXCEPT FOR A SMALL PATCH ON THE LEFT PANEL WERE SOME POINTS ARE SLIGHTLY HOLSTER FLATTENED. THE BARREL IS CORRECT FOR THE EARLY GUNS. IT IS STAMPED "S P" WITH A HEAT TREAT NUMBER UNDER THE CHAMBER. THE SLIDE RAILS, BOLT FACE AND FEED RAMP SHOW LITTLE USE. THE BORE IS VERY BRIGHT WITH SHARP CRISP RIFLING. IT COMES WITH ONE CORRECT MAGAZINE. THIS BEAUTY IS A REAL FIND FOR THE PERSON THAT DOESN'T WANT TO SELL THE FARM FOR THIS MILITARY LEGEND.
