Payment Types Accepted: Bank check, personal check, money order Description: Price reduced. Model 1836, R. Johnson, 54 caliber flintlock pistol. This model was the last flintlock pistol issued by the U.S. government and was widely used during the Mexican-American war. This example is in good condition. The lock's action is strong, retaining its two click action, and its markings (R. Johnson, Middn Conn,1842) are completely legible. The stock is sound, without any significant damage. One inspector's cartouche is plainly visible,, the second is largely worn but present. As is the case with most of these pistols, the barrel is lightly pitted, the side strap a bit more so, but this does not distract from the overall appearance of the gun. Standard three day inspection period. Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with the packaging, insurance, and shipping as charged by UPS or FedEx. Same terms apply to returns SOLD Antique: Yes |
