This Beretta Silver Snipe 20 ga shotgun is a great bird hunting shotgun. If you hunt Grouse, Woodcock, Quail or Dove you would love this little gun. Also has killed pheasants in the thick stuff. The barrels are 26" and choked Skeet and Skeet. The barrels are marked 2 ways, one place they are marked ** and *** and another marked Skeet and Skeet. I had a gunsmith check them and he says Skeet and Skeet 2. The barrel code is XVII which indicates made in 1961. It has been a hunting gun not a clay target gun. Carried alot and not shot alot. Look at the pic of the lever, it is still well to the right. It weighs 5 lbs 14 ozs on my digital scale. I put a quick change recoil pad from NECG on a couple of years ago when the old pad got hard. These are the way to go. It you hunt in a t-shirt one week and a heavy coat a month latter you will love it. The pad on the gun is 1 1/2" and LOP with it is 14 1/2". You can get a matching pad in 3/4",1',and 1 1/4" and it takes about 30 seconds to change the LOP. Take a look at the pics. Overall it is in Very Good condition.
