Model 1893 Marlin in very nice condition. Smooth metal with some color case remaining. Blue is thinning on barrel and mag. tube with some slight turning to brown. Very smooth and tight action showing that it has been shot, but not much. The 26" barrel has very sharp lands with smooth and shiney grooves. All the markings are correct and sharp. Full length magazine tube. It has a buckhorn rear sight with a silver blade front. Steel crescent butt plate. This nice example was built in 1904. The wood has not been sanded but possibly re-varnished at some earlier time. It has very tight wood to metal fit with no proud metal. The forend has a bit of damage on the underside you can see in the photo. Overall this is a very clean rifle and will make a great looking additon to your collection to display or for action shooting.
