Winchester Model 12 in 16 gauge. Built in 1950, this beauty has a 28" Full choke barrel with a solid rib. The bore is like new, shiny and with no hint of pitting, frosting or damage. The blue shows almost no wear with just the action rods showing and a hint of wear on the front edges of the action. If this was ever in the field, it sure doesn't look it. You will search a long time to find a nicer example of a early Model 12 in 16 gauge. All of the markings on the barrel are correct and strong showing it is Full choke, 16 ga. with a 2 3/4" chamber. The wood is excellent with full varnish and only one small scuff behind the grip. It has the original Winchester hard red rubber pad. This is 100% original and in excellent condition.
