Bore is excellent. Shiny with sharp lands and no hint of discoloration. Action is very smooth and solid. This has not been used much at all. The action shows some carry wear to the blue but no damage, rust or scratches. The action edges show some blue rubbing and the lever has some blue worn off. It has the original buckhorn rear sight and a gold bead front missing the hood. The wood is very good with minor scuffs and a ding or two but no damage, sanding or modifications. Original checkered metal butt plate. It is hard to find pre war lever rifles in this good condition and it will make a nice addition to your collection as well as being a great shooter.
